The Mazovia Institute of Culture

The Mazovia Institute of Culture – MIC (until 19’th of May 2014 referred to as Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts) is a modern research and development centre, focused on the promotion of cultural and artistic events and performing the duties of an artistic institution.

Established in 2000, The Mazovia Institute of Culture cooperates with artistic and cultural milieus of institutional and social character. Our task is to stimulate and support cultural initiatives and promote artists who perform locally and partake in an international circulation of culture. The Mazovia Institute of Culture carries out research projects to diagnose the need of the cultural market in the mazovian region.

The MIC projects concern all arts: theatre, dance, fine arts, music and cinematography.

The Institute also manages four art galleries and the Mazovia Warsaw Film Fund, which supports regional film production.

Since 2008 The MIC has been member of the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC).
