The National Chamber of Audiovisual Producers (KIPA) is the only economic chamber of the audiovisual market in Poland and one of the largest independent business organizations, uniting more than 170 entities. Among them are production companies specializing in film, television and advertising production, as well as film schools and regional film funds (RFFs).
Since its establishment in 2000, it has actively participated in the continuous development of the Polish audiovisual industry. KIPA’s primary task is to represent the economic interests of its members, in particular vis-à-vis government administration and key players in the audiovisual market. KIPA works to integrate the producer community, is a platform for exchanging experience and cooperation, provides information on current legislative changes, including legal and tax changes, and on the most important industry events.
It also provides access to legal services with the best experts specializing in issues related to the audiovisual sector, as well as shapes and spreads the principles of professional ethics in the activities of representatives of this market. In addition, it organizes periodic training and workshops for professionals and promotes the activities of its members.
In addition, KIPA maintains the Audiovisual Works Register and has established the Audiovisual Market Arbitration Court (SARA), which is the only amicable institution operating in the audiovisual sector.
