Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs

The Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs, spontaneously born a few months before the October 1956 breakthrough, is still alive today .

The objectives of the Federation are realized through:

1. • Initiating the formation of Clubs,
   • Organizing screenings, reviews, festivals, conferences, fairs, seminars and other film and cultural events,
   • Producing, collecting and making available audiovisual works,
   • Conducting publishing activities, collecting and making available publications and popularization and educational materials,
   • Participation in the work of the international film club movement,
   • To assume patronage over the activities of other individuals, organizations and institutions
   • Initiating and facilitating the exchange of experiences and contacts, supporting and promoting artistic, intellectual and scientific communities,
   • Representing members before state administrative bodies, local and non-governmental organizations and institutions, and companies,
   • To promote and inform about the activities of the Federation and members.
